1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CalGlue ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
CalGlue is a calendar synchronization service that connects Google Calendar and Microsoft 365 accounts to keep events in sync across platforms. The Service operates by reading calendar events from a source calendar and creating corresponding events in a target calendar.
3. Account Requirements
- You must have valid Google and/or Microsoft accounts to use the Service.
- You must authorize CalGlue to access your calendar data through OAuth 2.0 authentication.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- Access to CalGlue is currently by invitation only. Invite codes are non-transferable unless explicitly permitted.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.
- Share your invite code or account access with unauthorized third parties.
- Use the Service to sync calendars you do not own or have permission to access.
5. Data Handling
CalGlue accesses your calendar data solely for the purpose of synchronization. We store OAuth tokens required to access your calendars and metadata about your sync connections. For full details on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
6. Service Availability
We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.
7. Limitation of Liability
CalGlue is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data or calendar events.
- Incorrect or duplicate calendar entries.
- Missed appointments due to sync failures.
- Any damages arising from unauthorized access to your account.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting your accounts and deleting your CalGlue account. Upon termination, we will delete your stored data within 30 days.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
